Howdy! I'm Will.Â
I completed my PhD in philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh in the summer of 2024. Starting in the fall of 2024, I will be the Postdoctoral Fellow at the Applied Epistemology Project at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.
I work primarily in epistemology, focusing on the epistemology of testimony and perception and questions in metaepistemology. I also have interests in philosophy of mind, social and political philosophy, philosophy of science, and metaethics. Before Pitt, I studied philosophy and classics at Wake Forest University.
Outside of philosophy, I enjoy cooking, riding my bike, working on puzzles, and listening to and playing music (anything Americana-related, from old-time music, spirituals, and field recordings through blues, bluegrass, and gospel all the way to contemporary "alt country").
